Simply Stretch Classes
You’ve been sat crunched over your desk or laptop for most of the day and now your body is feeling stiff, tense and sore.
Whether you wish to improve your flexibility for dance, sporting activities, or general fitness and well-being, our Simply Stretch classes will help you strengthen your muscles and increase your range of movement.
Classes are floor-based, working through a combination of passive and active stretches, and designed to be accessible and relaxing for all levels of flexibility to help you stretch safely and effectively, improve your posture, and ultimately achieve greater overall flexibility in your body.
Simply Stretch
Simply Stretch provides a fusion of stretching and strengthening based on the Alixa Flexibility program of which Terri is a qualified instructor. The Alixa Flexibility syllabus has been carefully developed over 22 years with research consultation from experts in physiotherapy, sports medicine, massage therapy, rehabilitation, neurology & kinesiology.
Each 30 minutes class focuses on a different area of the body and helps you to:
- Improve your general level of flexibility & mobility through targeted exercises
- Understand how to stretch & relax different muscle groups safely and effectively
- Increase your range of motion and reduce tension throughout your body
You can safely, and almost instantly, loosen your muscles & tight joints, increase your flexibility and feel great. Simple straightforward exercises with options & variations, so it works for everyone.
Please Note:
If possible, please bring a yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks & belt with you if you have them. We can supply these if required.
