Waltz
Slow, elegant and romantic! The waltz is a classic dance loved by all. Its gentle rise and fall, long, flowing movements and smooth turns make this a very graceful dance.
Quickstep
The Quickstep is, by its name, quick and lively, with elements of the Charleston in it. The basic steps are easy to learn and it won’t be long before you’ll be moving around the dance floor.
Argentine Tango
The Argentine Tango was first danced in the backstreets of Buenos Aires in the 19th Century. Known for the flicks between the legs (Gancho), swivels (Ocho) and foot sweeps (Barrida), it’s one of the most passionate and intense dances.
Social Foxtrot
This social version of the classical Foxtrot is the easiest and quickest of dances to initially learn and can be danced to a lot of up-to-date pop songs.
Tango
Moody and sensual! The tango has plenty of drama and passion in its smooth stalking walks, dramatic poses and sharp staccato moves.
Slow Foxtrot
Smooth, flowing and stylish. It’s unique and challenging quick-slow timing is sheer elegance! This becomes a favourite with many dancers

Cha Cha Cha
The cha cha cha is a lively, flirtatious dance with lots of hip movements. The fun and fast steps can be danced to many modern and chart songs.
Rumba
The dance of courtship and love that’s slow and romantic, yet classy! Lots of swaying hip movements make this one of the most sensual dances. Very popular for a wedding dance.
Ballroom Jive
Quick steps, full of energy with lots of kicks and flicks- the jive is a lively and upbeat dance that, like the Cha Cha Cha, can be danced to many modern songs at parties, weddings or anywhere where there’s a DJ and a dance floor!
Swing Jive
A simplified and lower impact version of the ballroom jive, this dance doesn’t have so many of the flicks and kicks so it’s easier to master. The swing jive can also be danced to a wide variety of modern music
Salsa
Salsa translates as ‘sauce’ giving you some hint of what the dance should be – hot and spicy! This fun and energetic dance is one of the most popular of the Latin dances because it’s easy to learn and fun to dance at all ages and dancing abilities.
Paso Doble
The Paso Doble is the dance of the Spanish bull fight. The leader in this dance represents the Matador and the lady symbolises his cape. The dance has strong, dramatic walks and the flamboyance of flamenco.
