Some of our pupils enjoying a jive during the December Thank-You Dance
Each December we throw a thank-you party for our pupils who have been with us throughout the year.
Last Friday we prepped the food, put our glad rags on and pumped up the party music for our December Dance!
Many of our pupils had never danced before coming to us and it was wonderful to see them thoroughly enjoying themselves on the dance floor, practicing everything they have learned over the weeks and months of 2018.
We were also blessed with the company of Emma and Charlotte from our affiliate dance school, Rhythmix Academy, as well as the esteemed editor of Dance Diary, Eddie, and his lovely partner, Olive.
Over tea, cakes, a buffet dinner and a variety of alcoholic beverages our dancers and guests whirled and twirled and chatted and laughed together.
At a time when the country seems so fragmented, it was heart-warming to see such friendship and unity in one place.
Keeping their strength up between dances!
Nick’s Dance School reopens in the New Year when we will be starting to teach the waltz and jive from scratch.
