Did you walk into Tesco in Potters Bar on Saturday and wonder why you were being encouraged to dance?

Last week Tesco were encouraging us all to “Get ready for Dance Beats” A chance to step up, shake it down and move your feet to help beat cancer, beat heart diseases and fight diabetes.

Between 18th and 20th July, Tesco held events across the UK raising funds for Cancer Research UK, the British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK.

On Saturday morning at the Potters Bar store, co-founder and Dance Principal of Nicks Dance School Terri Bodell, with support of two of the dance school teachers; Anne-Marie and Sue, shared their passion and enthusiasm for dance with the staff and customers of Tesco in support of three important charities.

As Terri explains: “It was great to get involved and to support the staff on Saturday. Through all that we do at Nicks Dance School my aim is to get everyone dancing and enjoying the benefits it provides, both physically and mentally. Therefore it was great seeing so many children and their parents joining in the Dance Beats fun.”

During the 2 hours of dancing in the Tesco Foyer, Terri, her team and the Tesco staff danced to raise £168.00 towards to the Dance Beats Campaign.
